Terms of Service
1. Service Description
Relayd ("we," "our," "us") provides a scheduling tool for content creators and small teams who post to third-party social platforms. The service allows you to connect supported social accounts, draft and queue posts, and have those posts published on your behalf at scheduled times. By using Relayd, you ("you," "user") agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Account and Data Ownership
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the content you submit through Relayd. User content remains the user's property. Relayd does not claim ownership of your videos, captions, thumbnails, or any other content you publish through the service. You grant Relayd only the limited, revocable license required to deliver your content to the third-party platforms you have authorized (such as TikTok), for the duration of the scheduled publishing action.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Relayd account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly at support@relayd.org if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Relayd to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or engagement-farming content;
- Harass, threaten, or defame any person or group;
- Publish content that violates the intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party;
- Run automation that violates the terms of service, community guidelines, or developer policies of any connected third-party platform (including but not limited to TikTok);
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, content moderation, or other technical safeguards on connected platforms;
- Distribute malware, phishing material, or otherwise harmful code; or
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Liability
Relayd is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific post will be successfully published. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Relayd and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.
5. Termination
You may stop using Relayd and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if continued operation would create a security or compliance risk, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Data Deletion procedures.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Relayd shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
7. Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and post a notice on the Relayd website. Continued use of the service after such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
